Please help us by doing your part with the three “R’s”. REDUCE, REUSE & RECYCLE.

We are located at 2490 Briggs Woods Trail in Hamilton County, Iowa, two and one-half miles south of Webster City off of Highway 17. The park is 550 acres and is ideally located, with convenient access to all parts of Hamilton County as well as adjacent counties. Highway 20 offers clear access to the east and west, while Interstate 35 is located about 12 miles east of highway 17. The unique features of the park, particularly is the 62 acre lake and 18 hole golf course.

Shelters: We have three shelters to choose from for your next outdoor gathering. Shelter #1 is designed for camping clubs and family camping get togethers. If you are camping and have a club or family outing you may rent shelter #1 for your group. This shelter is located in the lower campground next to the shower house facilities. If you are not camping then shelter #2 and #3 are for you. Shelter #2 is an open air shelter with electricity, water hydrant, tables, wood cooking stove facilities, a ball field, a playground and a odorless pit latrine nearby. The cost for shelter 2 is $25 per time period plus a $25 deposit, and there are 3 time periods per day. To find out an available date to have your outing view Shelter 2. Shelter #3 is often referred to as "The Barn". This is the last original building from the Briggs Family farm and is used today as an enclosed shelter. This shelter has water just outside the building, 10 tables, wood burning stove cooking facilities and electricity. This shelter will hold approximately 100 people. The cost for shelter 3 is $40 per time period plus a $40 deposit. To see if we have your date open view Shelter 3 (The Barn)
Shelter use now has a "Carry In-Carry Out" trash policy. Not following the policy will result in forfeiture of deposit.

To make shelter reservations, please contact us at 515-832-9570 or email hccb@wmtel.net
