Canoe Access Information
Carry In Carry Out TrashPlease help us by doing your part with the three “R’s”. REDUCE, REUSE & RECYCLE.
Hamilton County provides four canoe accesses along the Boone River. They are listed in order from upstream to downstream.
1) Briggs Woods Park, at the end of the old highway on the west side of the campground.
2) Albright's Canoe Access located at 2667 Inkapaduta Avenue. From this location to Tunnel Mill you will find riffles along the way.
3) Tunnel Mill Canoe Access and Wildlife Management Area located at 3050 Tunnel Mill Road. From this location to the Des Moines River you will experience calm waters.
4) Bells Mill Park has an access site within the park.
